How To Move Playlist Of iPhone To Your Computer

Some people have large list of music in their iphones and they want to keep their iphone playlist secure.If You want to play these simple playlist on your computer follow these simple steps.

Step 1: In order to create a playlist on your iPhone or any other iOS device, launch the Music app and then tap on Playlists located at bottom left corner of your screen.

Step 2: Once Playlist screen opens up, tap on Add Playlist.

Step 3: Now you will be prompted to add a name for your playlist. Type it on and tap on Save.

Step 4: Once you have saved your new playlist, you will see a screen where you can choose which songs you want to add to your newly created playlist. To add a song tap on the blue-colored plus sign located to the right side of song title.

Step 5: When you have add all songs, tap on the Done button, located in top right corner.

Step 6: To transfer your newly created playlist or a playlist you created before, connect your iPhone with your Mac or Windows PC using a cable or Wi-Fi.

Step 7: Launch the iTunes app on your Mac or Windows PC and from left pane, under Devices click on your iPhone or other iOS device.

Step 8: Now from tabs located at the top of your iTunes window, select the checkbox in front of Sync Music and then select Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres.

Step 9: Then select playlists you want to move from your iPhone to your Mac or Windows PC.

Step 10: To start synchronization process click Apply button.

Step 11: The synchronization process will start, and once finished you will see the playlists inside iTunes left pane.

Samsung Champ Tricks Tips And Solutions

I’ve been using my Samsung Champ for about a month now and so far I’ve been getting a hang of the features. I am not actually a fan of touch screen phones but since my Internet provider offered me a free gadget on their retention program, the phone is too good not to choose as a freebie. This phone seems to be the latest of the release of Samsungs’ products (I think this one was last November 2010) so I get to find a few fresh tricks online on utilizing the phone.

One site in particular, Symbianize.com, posted tips and tricks about Samsung Champ. I’ve listed below a specific post from forum master krizero. The site by the way is exclusive for Filipino users so I had to change and translate a few of the text of the post.

JAVA Permission Security

It is caused by an error on the deleted file Open source announcement.html. That’s why the “always allowed” option for the opera mini and other java apps installed cannot be selected. The solution is to download the file by clicking here and then remove the .zip. Add Spaces on Each word(Open source announcement.html) and after renaming, put this on your Others Folder in the phone Memory.

“Jar File is Over Max Size”

Open your keypad then dial *#52828378#. Go to 06 OTA test then change the value of Maximum JAR size(KB) to 2000. This will change the max size of the jar file that is allowed to install.

Java error

Open your keypad then dial *#52828378#. Go to 05 Memory test then change the value of Java Heap(KB) to 2000 and the value of MIDP Heap(KB) to 2360.

*Take note that everytime the phone turn off/restarts, the values are goin back to default value so you have to repeat this steps again.

How To Block Unwanted Calls On iPhone iOS

Many iPhone owners expect that incoming call blocking is a built-in feature of the iPhone. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Such a feature is controlled at the provider level. Furthermore, most providers fail to offer call blocking to their customers. Providers that do often charge an exorbitant rate for this feature, such as AT&T in the US which offers a service called “Smart Limits” which includes call blocking but comes at a pricey $5 per month.

There are a couple solutions/workarounds that you can implement:
1) For those of you that are jailbroken, there is an app called iBlacklist that will allow you to filter incoming calls and SMS text messages. This is not a free app, but at it’s current price of $12.00 (one-time purchase), it can pay for itself fairly quickly vs. pricey provider solutions.

2) Don’t block calls, but silence them with a silent ringtone. This will still allow the calls to come through, but will silence the ring so you won’t even notice. To set this up, download this iPhone silent ringtone , import it into iTunes, and sync it to your iPhone. On your iPhone, add the number you want to block/silence to your contacts and set the silent ringtone as that contact’s custom ringtone.
